Our NYP Kayaking Team performed very well at the Singapore Canoe Marathon 2008 held on Sun, 27 Jan 08 at Marina Reservoir. This national-level competition saw the best athletes from various schools/institutions and public competing. All our athletes finished the difficult endurance races of 16km for the Novice to 36km for Senior Categories around an extensive water area from National Stadium to the Benjamin Sheares Bridge and the Marina Barrage. Team NYP achieved a total haul of 6 Golds, 3 Silvers,
3 Bronze and 4 Consolation medals for the Polytechnic in the different
categories! |
