Leadership Courses, Seminars and Workshops

To help students discover their potential, develop self-confidence, teamwork, cooperation, communication skills, leadership and interpersonal skills, the SA Office also enrols students for adventure programmes at both local and overseas Outward Bound Schools, and external seminars.

Apart from participating in external events, the SA Office takes an active role in organising various enrichment-related activities, such as Sports Fiesta, campus road run, swimming carnival, etc. The Student Counselling Services also conduct workshops as part of the student enrichment programme, for example, Boy-Girl Relationship, Conflict Management, Excel in Studies, and Coping with Examination Stress.

Leadership & Adventure Training

The NYP Adventure Park offers low, high and team building challenges for those with a taste for the outdoors and a little adrenaline rush. The activities provide participants with opportunities to develop confidence, leadership skills, team building and problem solving skills amidst an environment of fun and adventure. Rock climbing, overseas expeditions and experiential adventure learning activities offer participants opportunities to stretch their comfort zones, explore new horizons, embark on new ventures, and develop interpersonal skills.
