The 2008 CDC/CCC-Polytechnic Bursary & MOE Bursary application is CLOSED.

Click HERE to check your application results for students who applied on-line for 2008 CDC/CCC-Polytechnic Bursary & MOE Bursary application from 20-22 May 08.  The results are also available at Registrar's Office Notice Board (Blk A Level 2, outside the Shopping Arcade).

Bursaries are offered at different times during the academic year and have varying eligibility criteria. Generally most awards are offered within the first semester. For more information on current offers, please refer to this website, your NYP student email account or the Registrar's Office Notice Board that is located outside the Shopping Arcade at Blk A, Level 2.

Notes :

  1. Students who are sponsored or are already in receipt of a scholarship/bursary in a particular academic year SHOULD NOT be applying for or be in receipt of other awards in that same year.  However, those who have applied for or are on the Tuition Fees Loan Scheme, CPF Approved Education Scheme or Mendaki Fee Subsidy Scheme may apply for bursaries or scholarships, unless otherwise stated by the donor of the award.

  2. Students must be enrolled in a full-time course at the time of application and receipt of awards.

  3. Scholarships and bursaries are usually awarded for one academic year unless stated otherwise by the donors.  Students are required to apply annually in order to be considered for the scholarships and bursaries.

Bursary

Chan Chiew Ping Bursary
Eligibility: Female students from ASEAN countries only.
Criteria:

Financial need, academic performance and CCA.

Possess good character and sound values and likely to be an asset and contribute to society in future.
Quantum: Full subsidized tuition fees plus supplementary fees for the academic year concerned.

CJ Koh Bursary
Eligibility:

Singapore Citizens & PRs from Diploma in Nursing only.
Criteria:

Financial need, good academic performance and commitment to nursing career.
Quantum: S$2,000/yr

Dr Della Lee Nursing Bursary
Eligibility:

Singapore Citizens & PRs from Diploma in Nursing only; Second year students only.
Criteria:

Financial need, good academic performance and commitment to nursing career.

Eurasian Community Fund (ECF) - Study Grants
Eligibility :

Singapore Citizens & PRs;

Of Eurasian race OR of Eurasian parentage i.e. having at least one parent who is Eurasian
Criteria :

Of good conduct ; At least a pass grade for all subjects is required and *family monthly per capita income must not exceed $750.

*Family Monthly Per Capita Income = Total Monthly Gross Family Income / No. of Dependents in the same household
Quantum : Not available; Successful applicants will be informed by the Eurasian Association at a later stage.

Goh Foundation Bursary
Eligibility :

Singapore Citizens, PRs & Malaysians.
Criteria :

Financial need and academic performance.
Quantum : S$1,200/yr

Hokien Yeo Sze Education
Fund (Bursary)
Eligibility:

Child of Singapore Citizens & PR with the surname YEO
Criteria:

Financial need, academic   performance, conduct and character.

Excellence in CCA is an added advantage.
Quantum: S$400/yr

Kuok Foundation Award
Eligibility:

Malaysians only.

Criteria:

Financial need, outstanding / good academic performance and CCA.

Quantum: Full loan OR half loan-half grant study award; up to RM$12,000/yr

Lee Foundation Study Grant
Eligibility:

Singapore Citizens, PRs & Malaysians.

Criteria:

Financial need and academic performance.
Quantum: Usually 50% of tuition fees for a year.

Lotus Light Charity Society (Singapore) Bursary
Eligibility:

All full-time students.

MDIS Joint Bursary
Eligibility:

Singapore Citizens & PRs ; 1st and 2nd year students only

Parents' monthly gross income must not exceed $2,000 or $500 per capita income.
Criteria:

Financial need, academic performance and of good conduct.
Quantum: S$300/yr

PMBM Scholarship Fund Board Bursary
Eligibility:

Singapore Citizens & PRs; whose father/mother is a Singapore Citizen (student must not be above 21 yrs for this).

Only 1 sibling per household can apply.

For married students, only one spouse can apply.
Criteria:

Family income.

Quantum: S$600/yr
