Aerospace Systems & Management

Course Structure

In the first two years, the broad-based curriculum focuses on the development of strong avionics fundamentals and knowledge of aerospace systems. You will undertake avionics and aerospace systems projects to develop your system integration and testing skills. Operations and project management will be emphasized through case studies and projects.

In the final year, you will focus on developing your knowledge in aerospace system design, integration, testing and deployment, safety and quality management. Aviation management skills will be developed through modules covering aviation operations and management, and aerospace supply chain management. You will also undertake a full-time project and be placed in the Local or Overseas Industrial Attachment Programme for a whole semester.

Course Aims

This course will :

  • groom graduates for management careers in the aerospace and aviation industries
  • develop graduates with the expertise in system development, integration and maintenance of aerospace systems
  • equip graduates with the skills and expertise to support the aerospace-related electronics industry

Duration : 3 academic years on a full-time basis.

The following are the subjects students have to take before being awarded the Diploma in Aerospace systems and Management (DASM):

  • Year 1
