Aerospace Manufacturing
The aim of the Aerospace Manufacturing elective is to develop engineering graduates who are in strong demand by the booming aerospace industry which involves aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), and aerospace manufacturing. This new elective is aimed at meeting the demand for skilled aerospace technologists/engineers in the aerospace industry while at the same time equip them to take up further education in the University with an aerospace option.
Therefore the objectives of this new elective programme are:
- To train and equip our students with the latest knowledge/skills relevant to the current needs of the aerospace manufacturing industrial sector.
- To develop students to be technically competent and innovative in meeting the needs of the expanding range of aerospace activities in both manufacturing and services.
