Course Aims
The course provides:
- a strong foundation in aerospace engineering, fundamentals, materials, quality systems and design;
- the knowledge and skills in aerospace & aeronautical principles, composite materials technology, aerospace manufacturing, design, analysis and testing;
- excellent practical hands-on training coupled with exposure to emerging trends in aerospace engineering and the industry with industrial attachment to leading local & overseas aerospace companies;
Duration: 3 academic years on a full-time basis.

Course Structure
The three-year course emphasizes hands-on training, with one whole semester set aside specially for the final-year project module in the third year. Moreover, to prepare you for the real world, the industrial attachment programme and an Overseas Industrial attachment programme will give you a chance to work with companies on real-life projects.

Students are asked to select a specialisation elective, under which they have to complete all core modules as well as study a minimum of 2 prescribed electives. Students are also required to undertake a 12 week Industrial Attachment programme and also a Full-Time Semestral Project which may also be replaced by a Company-based project or Overseas Industrial Placement Programme
