Precision Engineering (PE) is a critical pillar of the manufacturing industry. It provides the strategic support to the electronics, medical/healthcare, tool & die and automotive industries. The course focuses on latest PE technology & knowledge-based activities, such as higher value-added complex tooling design/fabrication and industrial equipment manufacturing and process optimization. This is to equip students with the up-to-date technology, so that they can apply them to help improve productivity and responsiveness to business needs, customer demands and market changes.
