Course
Aims
The course aims to develop students and equip them with:
- a good understanding of the critical system building blocks supporting IT applications in engineering and business functions
- core capability in next-generation network and IT technologies such as enterprise network design & management, IT services & management, web services, system integration and system management
- proficiency in planning, designing, developing, deployment and enhancement of innovative IT solutions to fulfill business needs
- essential life skills in creative & critical thinking, team building, self-directed
learning, effective communication and enterprising spirit
Duration: 3 academic years on a full-time basis.

They enjoy a wide range of career opportunities in the areas of network infrastructure & IT services, manufacturing & logistics management, and software development. Together with their IT expertise coupled with business knowledge in outsourcing, logistics and supply chain, they can aspire to be the future technopreneurs.
Further Studies
The Diploma in Engineering Informatics enables students to gain admission into local universities, with direct entry into the second year of relevant courses. The Diploma is also widely accredited with high advanced standing for entry into many IT or Engineering degree programmes at reputable foreign universities in Australia, the UK, New Zealand, Canada and the US.
