Take Home a Digital Stamp

Visitors can download the digital stamp to their phone using the QR code.
An eight-month exhibition celebrating the deep-rooted friendship between Brunei and Singapore started early this month. The exhibition was officially opened by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Brunei's Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
Two Interaction Design students were part of this project. They constructed a Digital Stamp Vending Machine which allows visitors to choose either a Singapore or Brunei stamp and download it directly onto their mobile device. The students programmed and designed the user experience themselves using QR codes as a way to initiate the download of the stamps from a local server to the visitor's smartphone.
