NYP Students cum Cultural Ambassadors in Thailand

Five students from Nanyang Polytechnic's (NYP) School of Interactive & Digital Media (SIDM), along with its assistant director Amy Soon, attended the third ASEAN + 3 Youth Camp held in Bangkok earlier this month.
The 11-day camp saw students from nine ASEAN tertiary institutions coming together to share, promote and interact on their country's cultural uniqueness. It aimed to promote friendship, mutual understanding and academic collaboration amongst the nine institutions.
The itinerary included visits to the Grand Palace, the ASEAN department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Higher Education Commission. There were also classes and workshops on Thai culture, Thai language and even Muay Thai!
NYP was represented by SIDM students Naveen Raj Kunaseelan, Jamie Jessica Leong, Muhd Hisham Taufiq Minhad, Nur Amallia Affandy and Eleanora Si Hoe En Min.
