It was laughter all round, as the competitors fought using their "sumo wrestlers".

NYP's engineering students showed off their mettle and talent in robotics at the 25th Singapore Robotic Games (SRG). Held on Jan 24 and 25 at the Science Centre Singapore, the SRG brings together top robotics students from local and regional academic and research institutions, to further the advancement of robotics and automation.

Competing against tough tertiary rivals, our students were undaunted as they put on an excellent display of the skills and knowledge. Their training in school paid off handsomely as they emerged victorious in five categories. Our students took home the highly-coveted Gold in the Open Category, RC Sumo Robot Competition, Wall Climbing Robot Race, Humanoid Robot Competition, and RC Underwater Robot Competition.
