A Scholarship to Fulfil your Dream!

The Singapore Government is mobilising some S$76 million to attract and train about 2,000 precision engineers over the next few years. Students from NYP will be the FIRST to benefit from this latest initiative.

As a Digital & Precision Engineering student at NYP, you can now apply for the prestigious National Precision Engineering Scholarship (NPES).

The National Precision Engineering Scholarship (NPES) is awarded by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and SPRING Singapore for studies in the Diploma in Digital & Precision Engineering at Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP).

This scholarship programme will prepare the scholars to become key players in Singapore's growing Precision Engineering & Manufacturing Industries. Scholars will be able to pursue lucrative careers in the following sectors:

  • Biomedical Manufacturing
  • Aerospace Manufacturing Mould Design & Simulation
  • Precision Component Design & Manufacturing
 
The award covers:
  • total course fees for the NYP Diploma in Digital & Precision Engineering programme;
  • a monthly allowance of S$800 for the three-year duration of the course;
  • an opportunity to undergo a fully-paid overseas attachment programme of up to six months in Germany, Switzerland, Holland or Japan.
