• Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE)

    AY 2017/18 (Full-time Diploma Courses)

    Course Commencement Date: 17 Apr 2017.

    JAE is an annual exercise conducted by the Ministry of Education to allow holders of Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level certificate to apply for admission to courses offered by junior colleges, Millennia Institute, polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education.


    Am I eligible to apply?

    • All Singapore Citizens (SC) or Permanent Residents (SPR) with valid Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examinations results from any year.
    • International students studying in a Government School, Government-Aided School or Independent School in Singapore with valid 2016 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination results.

    What are the courses I can apply?

    When do I apply?

    The JAE registration will be 6 calendar days starting from 3.00pm on Wednesday11 January 2017 to 4.00pm on Monday16 January 2017.

     

    How do I apply?

    Applicants are to submit their application online via JAE-IS (MOE JAE - Internet System) starting from 3.00 pm on Wednesday, 11 January 2017 to 4.00pm on Monday, 16 January 2017.

    Eligible students can access the JAE-IS using either the JAE-PIN (Form A) or a valid SingPass.

     

    When will the posting results be released?

    The posting results of the JAE application are tentatively scheduled for release on Thursday, 2 February 2017.  

    Applicants can obtain their posting results via the following channels:

    • Online via JAE-IS (MOE JAE - Internet System); and
    • Short Messaging System (SMS) to the mobile phone number provided by the applicant during registration. 

    Successful applicants can expect to receive the enrolment package from Nanyang Polytechnic in end February to early March.
