Corporate & Marketing Communications Division

The Communications (COMMS) Division plays an important role in the branding of NYP. It helps build strong camaraderie and a sense of belonging among the NYP community by communicating important messages through various media platforms. These range from publications (Annual Report, Network, Prospectus, Stafflink), posters, websites and media stories, to promotional materials on NYP courses and campus life (Choices, Course Booklets).

Another exciting platform of communication is the myNYP Portal, a one-stop centre for students to access e-services and the latest news on NYP. We also have an official NYP Facebook page. Do like us on www.facebook.com/nanyangpoly and come check out our regular posts on campus happenings, lifestyle news and join our contests. In addition, we also have an in-house television channel, NYP TV which is fully managed and run by students. If you are keen to write for myNYP Portal or our official Facebook page, we welcome new writers.

Working closely with NYP Schools and students, COMMS promotes NYP to secondary school students through talks, exhibitions, campus visits and workshops. Apart from promotional materials, a website for secondary school or ‘future’ students can be found on our main website for students and their parents to get an idea of what the NYP Experience is all about. You will find information on various activities like contests, vacation workshops, news about our students, graduates and even lecturers. Our students are also encouraged to contribute stories and pictures to the website. One signature event organised by COMMS is the annual Open House during which ‘O’ level school leavers, secondary school students and parents visit the campus to find out more about NYP.

COMMS is constantly looking for students - like yourself - to be involved in our events and activities. Come and be a student guide and share your experience with visitors during Open House and campus visits. Give a talk about NYP at your former secondary school. Volunteer to be in our photo shoots for our publicity materials. We are also looking for student reporters or bloggers for myNYP Portal. It will be a thrill to find your name and story ‘live’ on the NYP website.

Write to us at NYP_Comms@nyp.gov.sg to be part of COMMS’ activities. We would love to hear from you!
