Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme (GPAI)

Coverage:

All Full-time enrolled students and Part-time enrolled in Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Specialist Diploma courses are covered under the Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme from MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd.

This scheme provides 24-hr world-wide insurance coverage for injuries sustained through accidents.  It covers medical and surgical charges, hospitalisation and ambulance charges up to a maximum of S$2,000, for any one accident.  For accident injuries resulting in death or permanent injuries, the compensation is S$30,000 for the former or a proportion thereof for the latter.

For the GPA Claim Form please click here. Alternatively, you may obtain a form from the Student Affairs Office and Blk E, Level 4, Rm E407.

Please note that the claim form and the necessary documents (see top section of form) are to be mailed, within 30 days of the accident, directly to:

Group Hospitalisation & Surgical Insurance (GHSI) for International Students

All international students of Nanyang Polytechnic are required to participate in the Hospitalisation & Surgical Insurance Scheme. The insurance premium is included in the fees at the start of the academic year.

International students in need of medical treatment and admission into a hospital are required to contact the insurer for a Letter of Guarantee.
