Notes :

1. The fees stated above are payable for a Academic Year and will be billed on a semestral basis.
2. Subsidised students are those who are eligible for and accept the tuition grant.
3. Non-subsidised
students are those who are not eligible for or do not accept the tuition grant.
4. All fees & tuition grant amounts are subject to change from year to year.
5. Students are advised to log-in their Student Account at Student Portal to view online their tuition fee & supplementary fees payable for the current Semester.



National Servicemen
Tuition fee (and tuition grant) for Reserved National Servicemen will be adjusted to the year of offer.

 

 

International Students
International students who are awarded and accept the Tuition Grant will be required to execute a deed with the Government of Singapore, in the presence of two sureties. The sureties act as guarantors and can be of any nationality, above 21 years old and are not declared bankrupt. They must be physically present at the polytechnic for the signing of the deed which usually takes place around May/June. Details will be known after the commencement of studies at the polytechnic. For new intake students, please refer to the Enrolment Guide for details of Tuition Grant Deed Signing. For existing students, please contact NYP Finance Department at 6550 0200. Upon completion of your studies, you will have to work in Singapore for three years. Please be advised that you will have to find your own employment.



Refund/Payment Policy

1. Refund Policy (applicable to students who have fully paid the fees):

  a) 

For withdrawals received before the commencement of a semester, students may be allowed a 100% refund of fees paid (less S$50 administrative charge for first-year students)

  b)

For withdrawals received within the 1st week of a Semester, students may be allowed a 75% refund of tuition fees paid, and 100% of examination fees, sports fees, welfare fees and miscellaneous fees paid

  c)

For withdrawals received after the 1st week of a Semester, there will be no refund of all fees.


2. Payment Policy (applicable to students who have not paid fees or have paid only partial fees) :

 

Students who withdraw after the start of the semester are liable to pay fees.

  a) 

For withdrawals received before the commencement of a semester, students may be allowed a 100% waiver of fees (less S$50 administrative charge for first-year students)

  b)

For withdrawals received within the 1st week of a Semester, students are liable to pay 25 % of tuition fees and 100% of orientation package fee, application fee, Students' Union fee, Students' Union Entrance fee, Insurance fee and Group Hospitalisation and Surgical Insurance fee (where applicable).

  c)

For withdrawals received after the 1st week of a Semester, students are liable to pay 100% of all fees



Change of Citizenship
Students who have officially informed NYP of their Singapore citizenship or Permanent Resident status before the commencement of each semester will have their fees adjusted and refunded for that semester. However, for those who inform NYP officially their Singapore citizenship or Permanent Resident status after the commencement of the semester, no refund will be made for fees already paid.  The fees will be adjusted to the Singapore citizen and Permanent Resident rate with effect from the next semester.
