Your application will still be considered based on your 'O' level results for courses where the minimum entry requirements are 'O' levels.

- Can I use combined GCE ‘O’/’A’ level results for application?
Yes but you can only use a maximum of 2 sittings (any 2 years). For example, students may have taken GCE ‘O’ level 3 times but only 2 sittings with the better results will be used for consideration.

Yes, you may do so through JAE if you have not studied in a Polytechnic before. Do apply for a SingPass before JAE.

Yes, you may do so through JAE if you have not studied in a Polytechnic before. Do apply for a SingPass before JAE. There is no age limit at the moment but applicants above 30 years of age may have to attend an interview.

- I have a degree from NTU/NUS/SMU or I have a diploma from the polytechnic and I want to pursue a course in NYP, can I apply?
You can still apply through our Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE). However, the application is considered on a case-by-case basis and if shortlisted you may have to attend an interview.

- Can I choose a less popular course first, get in and then ask for a transfer?
It is not advisable to do so. Please note that you are still required to meet the minimum entry requirements and COP of the course in order to be considered. Also, approval for course transfer is only given where there are strong reasons and vacancies available for the course.

No, you should not participate in the DAE. Instead, you should submit your request for course transfer to your Course Manager/Course Coordinator/PEC.
