Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE)

AY 2012/13 (Full-time Diploma Courses)

Commencement Date : 16 Apr 2012.

JAE is an annual exercise conducted by the Ministry of Education to allow holders of Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level certificate to apply for admission to courses offered by junior colleges, Millennia Institute, polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education.

 Am I eligible to apply?

• All Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents with valid Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examinations results
  from any year.

• International students studying in a Government School, Government-Aided School or Independent School in Singapore
  with valid 2011 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level
  Examination results.

 When do I apply?

 The JAE registration will commence on the same day as the

official announcement of the 2011 GCE 'O' Level Examination

results.

The JAE registration period is 5 calendar days, starting from 3.00 pm on Monday, 9 January 2012 and ending at 4.00 pm on Friday, 13 January 2012. 
 

 How do I apply?

Application must be submitted online via JIS (MOE JAE Internet System).

Eligible students can access the JIS using either the JAE-PIN (Form A) or a valid SingPass.

 When will the Posting Results be released?

MOE will release the results of your application on 30 January 2012 via JIS.

Successful applicants can expect to receive the enrolment package from Nanyang Polytechnic within 2-3 weeks after that.

Unsuccessful applicants may submit an online appeal under the Joint Appeal Exercise @ http://www.polytechnic.edu.sg/ when the JAE posting result is released.
