Nurturing Generations of Social Entrepreneurs

29 Feb 2012

Dear friends,

The meeting of hearts and minds in social entrepreneurship promises innovative solutions to tackle today’s social issues. How can we inspire, equip and enable today’s young social entrepreneurs to be leaders of tomorrow?

The Singapore International Foundation has invited Mr Mechai Viravaidya,

Chairman, Mechai Viravaidya Foundation and Population and Development International

to speak on nurturing future generations of social entrepreneurs.  He is a leader in the fields of education, community development and public health, and also a forerunner of the social enterprise sector in Thailand.

Together with a panel of entrepreneurs and social innovators from Singapore, Mr Mechai will frame the stage by which youths can be effective social entrepreneurs with ideas and sustainable business models that would make a difference.
