About ISC

Welcome to the International Students Club (ISC) of Nanyang Polytechnic!

The ISC is considered the second ‘home’ for all international students studying at NYP. We have quite a large community of international students from different countries, such as, Malaysia, Myanmar, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Cambodia and others.

Our club consists of 20 helpful and friendly committee members who are ever ready to make your life at NYP an exciting one. It is our aim to help all international students who may face difficulties and problems, socially or academically. At ISC, we have the privilege of sharing a rich community of different cultures with one another which binds us like a huge ‘family’.

There are many exciting things about ISC, especially the many interesting events and activities that we organise every year. They provide the avenue for all of us to get together and interact and share valuable experiences with each other.

Memberships

All international students who are full-time students at NYP will automatically become a member of ISC. They are always most welcomed to participate in all activities organised by the club.

Activities

In each academic year, ISC will provide a series of activities for their members, including:

• Off-campus Camp at East Coast, Sentosa, etc.
• Sports activities & competitions: Table tennis, Badminton, etc.
• Cultural Night Show: An annual concert by the different nationalities to showcase their cultural song & dance performances, such as Malay, Indian, Chinese, Myanmar, etc...
• English Language Conversation Workshop
• BBQ or more fun activities & gatherings
