Diploma in Food and Beverage Business (C46)

 

Duration: 3 academic years on a full time basis.

 

With our broad-based, comprehensive and well-balanced programme, you will have strong foundation of food business, food service management and culinary arts. You will be taught:

  • Fundamental and essential food business knowledge in economics, essentials of marketing, principles of accounting, business communication, financial management, human resource management and entrepreneurship. 

  • Key culinary skills required for F&B services in food culture, baking & pastry, basic cookery, Asian & International cuisine, stock & sauces preparation, patisserie & desserts and beverage preparation.

  • Essential food service management skills in managing customer experience, purchasing and food logistics, menu planning & cost control, food service preparation, food and beverage services.

 

Students will be exposed to entrepreneurship in F&B using the skills and knowledge acquired by preparing business plans for projects and its execution through hands-on learning, and a 960-hour industry internship programme.
