Productivity Manager Programme

There are 5 modules in the programme. The emphasis and focus will be contextualized to hospitality and the F&B sectors with real life case discussions, where applicable.

 

Module 1: Productivity in Perspective (2 days)

    • Productivity Growth and trend in Singapore

    • Rationales & Needs for Productivity Improvement

    • Productivity Measurement

    • Practical application

Module 2: Productivity Manager as Change Agent (2 days)

    • The Key Roles of a Productivity Manager

    • Understand Change Management and its  Processes

    • Critical success factors for a sustainable productivity improvement culture and initiative

    • Practical Application

Module 3: Productivity Improvement Techniques, Systems & Processes (2 days)

    • Productivity improvement  - a system perspective

    • Productivity Factors

    • Productivity Improvement - Conceptual Model /  Process

    • Tools, Techniques and Processes and its advantages and limitations for productivity improvement

    • Practical Application

Module 4: Innovation & Technology Applications in Productivity (2 days)

    • An Introduction of technologies available

    • Case discussions - Technology Applications and Business Process Innovations

    • Leveraging technology and innovation to drive productivity growth – Potential and Pitfalls 

    • Identifying available and relevant technology and innovation

    • Identify and overcome  barrier to technology adoption and innovation

Module 5: Practicum – Company Based Productivity Project

2-day project guidance will be provided to facilitate the participants inthis company-based project phase in a hotel or F&B setting
