“The sun watches what I do, but the moon knows all my secrets” – Moondreaming

As part of the Singapore Night Festival 2017, 13 students from the Diploma in Spatial Design and Diploma in Sustainable Architectural Design, together with their lecturers and alumni, staged an impressive show at the National Design Centre.

Visitors to their installation were invited to be part of an immersive spatial experience that evoked a sense of collective dreaming. Set in a darkened room with a specially designed orbit apparatus, visitors walked through a clever use of light and shadow coverage that brought life to the stories hidden in the shadows of cityscape. The narratives in this imaginary cityscape were illuminated only by the “moonlight”.

On the 26 August, which was the last night of the show, more than 1,500 visitors walked through the set in just three hours, between 7 pm to 10 pm!
