About the Course
The Specialist Diploma in Electronic Systems Development is a programme for engineers to develop an expertise in the development of electronic products and systems for smart connected solutions, internet-of-things applications, etc. It also places an emphasis on project development and management skills, enabling them to better manage projects as they progress in their careers.
The course emphasizes an applied approach in training, equipping participants with a deeper know-how in embedded and wireless system design considerations, implementation techniques and validation. Participants will also further develop skills to integrate and perform system characterization and performance validation of electronic systems. Participants who have successfully completed the programme will receive an industry-recognised Specialist Diploma in Electronic Systems Development and will be able to contribute effectively in their workplaces as a result of enhanced competency. In addition, this course is also intended to add value to their academic qualification and career advancement.
The Specialist Diploma in Electronic Systems Development comprising of two Post Diploma Certificates (PDCs) has a course duration of 300 hours. Participants who meet the assessment and attendance requirements for all the modules under each PDC will be awarded the respective Post-Diploma Certificate. The participants will be awarded the Specialist Diploma in Electronic Systems Development upon successful completion of both PDCs.
