• Admission Requirements

    For WSQ Diploma in Precision Engineering (Master Craftsman Skills)

    Candidates with ITE Nitec / Higher Nitec / NTC-2 or WSQ Advanced Certificate qualifications with at least four years of relevant experience in the PE industry are eligible to apply.

     

    For WSQ Specialist Diploma in Precision Engineering (Master Craftsman Skills)

    The programme is offered  to candidates with the WSQ Diploma in Precision Engineering (Master Craftsman Skills) or equivalent qualification.

    Graduates who are awarded the WSQ Diploma in Precision Engineering (Master Craftsman Skills) and the WSQ Specialist Diploma in Precision in Precision Engineering (Master Craftsman Skills) will be considered to have completed the Precision Engineering Master Craftsman (PeMC) Programme.

     

    Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on:

    (i)  Evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience; OR

    (ii) Supporting evidence of competency readiness.

     

    Suitable applicants who are shortlisted will have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.

    CET Qualification Award (COA) FOR PARTICIPANTS

    From 1 March 2011, Singaporeans who successfully completed and are awarded a subsidised part-time Diploma at Polytechnics or a WSQ Diploma/specialist Diploma for the first time will be eligible for a CET Qualification Award (COA) of $1,000.  For more details, please visit : skillsconect website
