• Admission Requirements

    Target Participants:
    The SkillsFuture Earn and Learn Programme (ELP) is targeted at fresh nursing graduates from local polytechnic. The course is for Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents who are within three years of either graduation or the Operationally Ready Date for National Servicemen.

    This course is also available as a non-ELP programme targeting registered nurses who meet the entry requirements.

    Admission Requirements for ELP Participants
    • A fresh graduate with a Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic;
    • Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents who are within three years of either graduation or the Operationally Ready Date for National Servicemen;
    • Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board;
    • Supported by his/her employer.

    Admission Requirements for non-ELP Participants
    • A registered nurse with a Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification;
    • Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board;
    • At least 1 year post registration experience with a minimum of 6 months in the discipline of study;
    • Supported by his/her employer.

    Details of the course will be announced as and when the course is offered. Typically one intake per year in April. The course will be conducted when there is a sufficient number of applicants.

    NB: (1) An incomplete submission may not be considered.
    Organisations sponsoring their staff for the programme are required to submit the Company-Sponsorship Form to the above address before the closing date. 

     

  • Course Schedule

    The Specialist Diploma in Nursing (Gerontology) is a 52-week (380 hours) part time course.

    Classes are conducted on Wednesday from 0900 – 1700 hrs.
