Disease Centric SNP Database (DCSDB)

Summary: Development of an integrated disease centric SNP, genomic and pathway mapper. DCSDB will include multiple SNP databases: dbSNP, Han SNP, JSNP, Hapmap, for easy comparison of SNP differences between different human races. Information from SNP, genome and pathway is amalgamated with disease information from databases such as OMIM and CGAP, to aid new and innovative discoveries.

Summary: The protein profile of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa, obtained from clustering proteins of Pseudomonas strains, can be used for diagnostic purpose to detect its presence. Detection of the bacterium is important for curbing chronic bacterial infections in the lungs of cystic fibrosis patients.
