All-Japan International Micromouse Competition

Team from School of Engineering is the Champion for the Micromouse (Expert Class) in the All-Japan International Micromouse Competition 2009 held in Tsukuba, Japan from 21 to 23 Nov 2009.

 

The team took part in both the Micromouse and Microclipper competition. Our winning mouse, Rush & BR8SW is the Champion and the Bronze respectively in the Micromouse (Expert Class). Rush clocked the fastest run time of 5 seconds and BR8SW clocked 5.8 seconds.

X-Clip & Altron won the Bronze and Special Award in the Microclipper competition.

 

Team members :

Siew Peng Shorn, Yin Hsiang Ting, Alex Oh, Soh Yi Lang and Zheng Yong Xian from the Embedded Technology Centre as well as student, Koh Jing Cheng, from Diploma in Electronics, Computer & Communications Engineering.

 

A total of 23 teams from the USA, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea and India took part in the competition this year.
