World Skills Competition 2011

Tan Chia Kai and Tang Shi Jie from the School of Engineering represented Singapore in the Mobile Robotics trade at the 41st WorldSkills Competition held in London (UK) from 5-8 Oct 2011. They competed against the world’s best teams and won the Medallion for Excellence for their excellent performance during four days of ferocious competition. The same duo won the Gold Award at WorldSkills Singapore 2011, defeating top teams from other institutes of higher learning.

 

 

 

SEG student Kenny Lin represented Singapore in the WorldSkills Competition 2011 in the CNC Milling trade. He was awarded the Medallion for Excellence for his outstanding performance. He had previously won the Gold Award at WorldSkills Singapore 2011 competition where students from institutes of higher learning participate.
