World Skills Singapore 2011

At the World Skills Singapore 2011 (WSS2011) held from 20 to 22 January 2011, NYP has done well again and Team NYP had the biggest medal haul, topping the medal tally with 8 Gold, 7 Silver, 7 Bronze medals and 5 Medallion For Excellence awards. World Skills Singapore is a biennial nation-wide skills competition for Singaporean youths to excel in technical skills. Our gold medallists in WSS will be given the opportunity to represent Singapore in the prestigious 41st WorldSkills Competition (WSC), to be held in London, UK, in October 2011.
The team from the School of Engineering (SEG) won 3 Golds, 4 Silvers and 4 Bronzes in the 8 competition categories they participated in.
