Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering

 

 

In the first and second year of studies, the subjects will give you a good foundation in engineering knowledge. The training will leverage on technology applications to enhance your effectiveness as a mechatronics technologist. You will take up subjects such as Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Drawing/CADD, Materials Technology, Electrical Principles & Circuits, Analogue & Digital Electronics, Computer Programming, Automatic Control, Mechanical Design, Machine Elements & System Peripherals, Electrical Machines, etc.

 

The three-year course emphasizes hands-on training, with one whole semester set aside specially for the final-year project module in the third year. Moreover, to prepare you for the real world, the industrial attachment programme will give you a chance to work with companies on real-life projects.
