Overseas Industrial Placement Programme (OIPP)

Besides the local Industrial Attachment Programme (IAP), some of you will also be eligible to apply for the Overseas Industrial Placement Programme (OIPP). This is part of Nanyang Polytechnic existing industrial placement programme, which gives final year students an opportunity to work in companies and gain practical experience.

OIPP aims to instill in you a regional and global mindset. If selected, you will be attached to an overseas organisation for 3 to 6 months.

Through this programme, you will be able to appreciate and learn the challenges of managing business across national boundaries. Besides obtaining hands-on operational experience, working in environments that are socially and culturally different from Singapore will enrich and provide you with a memorable experience.

Nanyang Polytechnic's Placement Services Centre (PSC) works closely with overseas organizations to engage our students to undertake specific projects for such industrial placements. Since the programme started in 1994, many of our students have been placed in companies in China, Finland, France, Germany, India, Japan, South Africa, Thailand, United States, Vietnam, etc.
