The School of Engineering (SEG) offers a unique blend of theoretical and practical training for any one aspiring to be an engineer. Here, you are constantly kept abreast and trained in the latest emerging technologies by a supportive, friendly and experienced staff using the latest technological and computing facilities.

You will undergo a comprehensive and balanced training in your three years of studies. In your first two years, you will be provided with a broad-based curricula that equips you with fundamental skills. In your third year, you will be given a choice to an area of specialisation that will provide training in value-added development.

To prepare you for the real world of engineering, you will be attached to either a local or an overseas organisation for your third year project work. This joint industrial programme allows you to participate actively in realistic and practical learning experiences.

Here at SEG, you are assured that the latest happenings in the world of engineering is brought to your knowledge. This is possible as SEG is often involved in collaboration projects with various industries and organisations and also foreign governments.

At SEG, you will also hear about the unique training approaches such as the "Teaching Factory Concept". Of course, there is also emphasis on creativity, innovation and technopreneurship.
