Autism Therapy System

SEG developed a digital signal processing (DSP) based auditory system for Sensable Pte Ltd. The system is used in rehabilitation to address the learning disorders in children with autism. Research has shown that there is a direct connection between learning disorders and the human hearing system. Medical professionals can use this system to conduct a series of therapy sessions aimed at normalising a child’s hearing system, which will improve the child’s learning behaviour. From the series of therapy sessions, the system can collect the behavioral data, process and analyse them for facilitation in the treatment delivery.
