Automated Positioning System for Microwave Transmitter

SEG collaborated with iCredo Technologies to develop an automated positioning system (APS) to enhance mobile communication in telematics applications such as in-vehicle navigation, track and trace intelligent transport systems and electronic road gantry systems. Designed to be used in conjunction with a microwave transmitter, the APS comprises a smart positioning algorithm, along with GPS-enabled and navigation technologies. It enables the desired directivity of the transmitter to be constantly computed for optimum transmission and reception of the communication system installed in telematics applications.
