From the Director's Desk

Dear readers,

May was an exciting month especially for the Class of 2010 !

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all our graduates on reaching this important milestone in their lives ! Well done.

To our graduates, now that you are embarking on your next journey in life, remember to equip yourself with what you have been honing all these years - your talent, your character and the knowledge gained. These will be your tonic to guide you through the challenges that you
may faced.

Believe in yourself, build upon the strong foundation that NYP has
helped you lay and unleash your talent wisely. You have what it takes
to succeed.

For those of you who are seeking employment, the industry beckons. Your dream job awaits.
For those of you who are waiting to be enlisted for NS, keep fit and make the best use of your time; feelance if you can. I know some of you are doing very well.
For those of you who are applying for further studies, my best wishes to you and if you need an academic reference from us, do let us know. I heard many of you have secured places and I would appreciate it if you could let us know where you would be furthering your studies. Please keep in touch.
For those of you who are still undecided on what you want to do, take a short break or come and see us. We are always glad to hear you out and to extend any assistance we can to help you out. Drop me a mail.

To the rest of us readers, 2 key events are on or coming up real soon. That of the Singapore Games Creation Competition (SGCC) for secondary school students, and the Direct Polytechnic Admission (DPA) exercise. If you are participating in SGCC, all the best in your game creation - looking forward to seeing your game idea come to live. If you are an "O"-level student now and thinking of joining us as a student next year, do ask your teacher about the DPA exercise. Alternatively, we welcome you to surf our website here.

Have a great time !

Yours sincerely
