This focus is not about playing games but becoming the mastermind behind the games people play. It involves game strategising, player psychology, game level design, game scriptwriting, 3D graphics, character animation through motion-capture, and mobile games design.

The development team at the school’s Games Design studio has developed several games that have been marketed successfully overseas to countries such as Taiwan, Korea, China and Japan.
The Games Creation Community (GCC), an initiative of the Economic Development Board (EDB) and hosted by Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), was officially launched on September 24.
