“Second Life” is an Internet-based 3D virtual world first launched in 2003, which has gained increasing popularity over the years. In this world, users can perform numerous activities, such as interact, play and even conduct businesses with one another.
Examples of projects designed and developed by SIDM in “Second Life” include Live Video Conference for corporate meetings; Alternate Reality Game where players make use of different medium such as emails and SMS to participate in the virtual game; and puzzle and shooting games. |

This is a quick-paced shooting game specially designed and developed for Republic of Singapore Navy. It was showcased during their 40th Anniversary Open House in May 2007.
In this game, players get to control a real-life machine gun that can be found on RSN’s battleship, and they have to aim and shoot at as many correct targets as possible during the time given.

“Bugz Raider” is a re-creation of the all-famous arcade game Space Invader. Players control a fish, which is determined to protect its community from enemies’ invasion. This game is created in association with a healthcare practitioner who believes in enhancing learning by conditioning the learner's brainwaves through playing computer games.
Unique point of this game is that players’ brain waves will be detected and digitized to control the game play. The ability to shoot bullets at the enemies and the enemies’ intelligence would be affected by the brainwaves detected. |

This is a single player, 3D action puzzle PC game. It takes place in the 25th hour, where soul-eaters roam and consume human souls. Humans are frozen during this period of time and at every 100th year, a human is sent into the 25th hour.
Player takes on the role of the newly sent human, who tries to escape from the place. However during his journey, he unveils the secrets of the 25th hour and has to stop the soul-eaters from destroying the human race. |
