Microsoft Office 2010 Make-It-Great Ambassador

 

The search for Singapore's First-Ever Microsoft Office 2010 Ambassador – this was an event that was to coincide with the 1st Anniversary of Microsoft Office 2010 in Singapore. An island-wide search for individuals who have made use of the Microsoft Office 2010 suite of software products to enrich, enhance and excite. 50 individuals were shortlisted and from there, based on submissions and interviews, 9 finalists eventually stood out.

 

Amongst the finalists, 4 students stood out as outstanding individuals who make use of Office 2010 both in their academic pursuits as well as evangelize tips and tricks of the Office 2010 suite to their juniors in Nanyang Polytechnic.  They were

 

  1. Eustace Zheng, a 3rd year student from the Diploma in Engineering Informatics

  2. Joshua Tan, a 2nd year student from the Diploma in Information Technology

  3. Koh Kai Wei, a 3rd year student from the Diploma in Information Security

  4. Mong Yunheng, a 3rd year student from the Diploma in Information Security

 

The search culminated on 6th July 2011 when Microsoft crowned Singapore’s First-Ever Microsoft Office 2010 Make-It-Great AmbassadorJoshua Tan, from the School of Information Technology, Nanyang Polytechnic.  Joshua Tan impressed the judges with his enriching and exciting use of the Microsoft Office 2010 suite by creating a platform that enabled him to enhance his knowledge, love for music and technology.  With all the impressive work, interview rounds and social media voting, Joshua emerged as the CHAMPION and had the honour of being bestowed the title of Singapore’s First-Ever Microsoft Office 2010 Make-It-Great Ambassador.

As the CHAMPION and Ambassador, Joshua will also be featured in future print and online media publicity materials issued by Microsoft for their Microsoft Office 2010 suite of products.

 

Congratulations to Joshua and his team mates, Kai Wei, Yunheng and Eustace for their outstanding performance.
