Nokia X-Calibre Hackathon Competition
Our students, Mong Yunheng, Koh Kai Wei and Kok Kiat Han put up a really good fight at the Nokia X-Calibre Hackathon Competition, coming in as the 2nd Runner Up after professional developers and a start-up team from NTU. A total of 15 teams competed to build the best Windows Phone App using Mango features within a day.
Our three musketeers created a Windows Phone application codenamed Tumblr7. The app allows users to share text, photos, videos, quotes, etc. on the popular blogging platform, Tumblr, using a Windows Phone 'Mango' device.
Another SIT team, comprising of 1st year students also took part in the competition and created an all-encompassing app for students to do note-taking, setting reminders etc.
