Given today’s highly interconnected world and the increasing level of security threats, there is an urgent demand for more Information Security professionals to handle these growing challenges.

Our Diploma in Information Security is a comprehensive course designed to equip students with strong IT expertise and specialised knowledge to strategise, research, develop and deploy effective security solutions. Students are also trained in digital forensics with capabilities in evidence gathering, analysis, investigations and presentation of digital frauds and crimes.

Students will learn critical topics such as phishing, cryptography, steganography, digital forensics, zero-day attack, system hardening and enterprise security. Course Aims

The course aims to develop students and equip them with:

• a holistic knowledge of the various critical areas of enterprise information security and digital forensics through a comprehensive coverage of people, process and technology aspects;

• the capability to harmonise security policies and governance, risk management and IT in the implementation of effective solutions;

• a good understanding of the integrity and ethical responsibilities expected of an information security professional; and

• essential life skills in creative and critical thinking, team building, self-directed learning, effective communication and enterprising spirit.

Duration: Three academic years on a full-time basis.
