NYP signs 4th Collective Agreement with AUPE

The fourth Collective Agreement Signing Ceremony between Mr Chan Lee Mun, Principal & CEO of Nanyang Polytechnic and Mr Teo Yock Ngee, General Secretary of AUPE on 19 August 2009 was witnessed by 8 senior management staff, Deputy General Secretary Noor Shyma, Branch Chairman Andrew Poh, Secretary Philip Woo and fellow committee members.

The Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) Non-Academic Staff Agreement was renewed for another 3 years which has a major change from the Monthly Salary Scales to Monthly Salary Ranges/Scales.

The day saw the team continuing their interactions over sumptuous buffet lunch while enjoying the companionship of each other.

The occasion also marked the continuous good and harmonious relationship between the two partners since the inception of the Polytechnic. Bonding and strengthening of the relationship was carried out over the years through meetings, informal discussions and union-management team development programmes annually.
