IPPT

All medically fit, final year NS-eligible learners are required to attempt their Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) in preparation for National Service.

IPPT is a standard physical fitness test used by the Singapore Armed Forces, Singapore Police Force and Singapore Civil Defence Force to test the basic components of physical fitness and motor skills of an individual. The test consists of 3 stations: sit-up, push-ups and 2.4km run.

Do note that IPPT sessions in NYP will be conducted during September to December period. If you are eligible for IPPT, you will receive an email notification.

Please register via the Student Life Infosystem (SLIS) to book your slot. Keep in mind that slots are limited for each session and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Alternatively, if you are unavailable for any of these sessions offered by NYP, you can register for your IPPT via the NS Portal link (https://www.ns.sg/nsp/portal/site/mha/manage-ippt-ipt-rt/info).

IPPT results would be recorded in your CCA Transcript.

Note: NYP does not conduct IPPT for our female or male regulars. Please liaise with your respective units to attempt your IPPT.
