Capturing a happy moment between PCEO Jeanne Liew with DSTA CEO Tan Peng Yam after the MOU signing.

To develop new talent for the tech and engineering fields, the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) sealed an agreement on Jul 31 with NYP and the other polys to boost students' exposure to fast growing areas such as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. The MOU will see closer collaboration between the parties on internships, hackathons and curriculum development.

Loh Chuu Yi, SBM Director and Marcus Tan, Chief Executive Officer of AIQ Pte Ltd were all smiles after the MOU signing.

We have also signed an MOU with AIQ Pte Ltd (AIQ) to raise the standards and adoption of visual recognition (VR) and visual commerce for the retail sector. D'studio will serve as an incubator to testbed an integrated offline to online approach with the help of these technologies. AIQ will lend support to develop VR content for D'studio and NYP events.
