MOU with two Best in Class Institutes in Europe

PCEO Jeanne Liew signed the MOU with Prof Oertle Cornelia, director general of SFIVET on Apr 24, in Hünegg Castle, in the municipality of Hilterfingen of the Canton of Bern in Switzerland - a Swiss heritage site of national significance.

NYP's pursuit of excellence for workplace learning achieved another milestone recently. Last month, we signed an MOU with two class institutes in Switzerland and Germany to enhance our collaboration on programme development and delivery, research and development, and sharing of best practices on workplace learning. They are the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (SFIVET) and Industrie- und Handelskammer (IHK Academy) - German Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

The MOU with IHK Academy was signed on April 27 with Dr. Stefan Loibl, chief executive officer of the IHK Academy, in Munich.

SFIVET oversees vocational education and training (VET) for practitioners and serves as our Swiss contact point for international cooperation. The IHK Academy is the second largest chamber of commerce and industry in Europe with about 380,000 member companies. It supports foreign trade promotion, vocational training, regional economic development and general service to their members.

With the two MOUs signed, NYP can look forward to more collaboration opportunities with the two institutes, leveraging and strengthening each other's capabilities.
