Published on 15 Feb 2019

On 15 February 2019, Paypal Pte Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with five polytechnics and Institution of Technical Education (ITE) to collaborate on FinTech education.

Launching later this year, the Paypal Fintech programme will offer students from these six institutions a three-year programme to equip them with relevant industry knowledge. This programme will blend industry expertise into the institutions’ academic curriculum, equipping students with industry knowledge and work-ready skills.

Over the next three years, more than 1,700 polytechnic and ITE students enrolled in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) courses will benefit from this initiative. Paypal will work with the various institutions to enhance their curriculum and equip students with the foundation of e-payments by gradually integrating proprietary materials and case studies into four modules – Payments 101, Paypal Solutions, API Integration and Testing in Paypal Sandbox.
