NYP helps upskill TAC executives
Published on 13 Jan 2022

Trade Associations & Chambers (TACs) executives can now look forward to specially curated training courses to prepare them well for their job role, thanks to a collaboration agreement between NYP and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI).

The training supports the Trade Association & Chambers (TAC) Competency Framework developed by SCCCI, with support from Enterprise Singapore (ESG), SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Singapore Business Federation (SBF).

The basic five-day course will help develop a pool of executives skilled in industry development, internationalisation, capability building and research.

SD/I&LL signed the agreement with an SCCCI rep at the launch event graced by Minister of State for Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ms. Low Yen Ling on 13 Jan.

NYP will continue to work closely with SCCCI to jointly develop two new Technical Skills Competency (TSC) courses for TAC employees.

The first batch of TAC executives is expected to undergo the course in Q2 this year.
