I attended the open houses of all the polytechnics and really loved NYP’s environment. I knew NYP would be my first choice. Plus, I wanted to enter a business course, but wasn’t sure on what exact course to take. I did my research and decided that the Diploma in Banking & Finance would suit me best as I was interested in a career in the finance industry.

I am so glad to have been accepted via the EAE. My eventual O Levels score would have missed the cut off by two points.

Coming into NYP was a refreshing experience and I was given many opportunities to enrich my schooling experience. The curriculum, which mixes hands-on activities with theoretical knowledge, equipped me with relevant skills in banking and finance. My tutors were also very understanding and friendly - they made a big (and positive) difference to my poly experience. After all, your education is your passport to the future.

NYP has allowed me to grow as a strategic thinker and leader. One of my most memorable moments was participating in NYP’s Open House as SBM’s student panelist, where I was able to interact with my juniors and boost my public speaking skills.

I am extremely grateful to enter my course of choice via the EAE and am looking forward to fulfilling my career aspirations in the finance industry.
