Automation & Robotics Innovation Centre
The Automation and Robotics Innovation Centre (ARiC) is a Centre of Excellence for Automation & Robotics Technology established jointly by the Economic Development Board (EDB) and Nanyang Polytechnic. It is a hub for System Integrators (SIs)/Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to co-innovate Robotics and Automation (RnA) platforms and test-bed innovation solutions, and form strategic partnership.
We:
- Jointly develop platforms with System Integrators (SIs) for high mix low volume
- Lead the adoption of advanced technologies such as simulation, industrial networking, smart sensing and collaborative robotics towards smart manufacturing and develop innovative RnA applications for digital engineering
- Create RnA awareness through outreach and forming strategic alliance
- Develop manpower and relevant capability through training and joint projects
