About the Course
Cloud computing and the next generation data centre technologies are transforming the way ICT services are delivered in unprecedented ways. In the new ICT delivery model, services are created and consumed on demand to meet today’s fast changing business environment. Fabric-based infrastructure, virtualisation and cloud computing are the underlying technologies for the next generation cloud data centre.
Together, they comprise a converged architecture which enables business agility and operational efficiency, while making the data centre simpler, more flexible and less expensive to operate.
In response to this industry trend and development, Nanyang Polytechnic / School of Engineering has designed the Specialist Diploma in Cloud Data Centre Technology and Management programme with the Infocomm professionals and practitioners in mind, preparing them with the necessary technical and management competencies to meet the demand of a rapidly changing ICT environment.

Post-Diploma Certificate in Management of Data Centre to participants who have met the assessment and attendance requirements of the following modules
- Data Centre Design and Operations
- Data Centre Service Management
- Data Centre Infrastructure Management
- Data Centre Infrastructure Management Project
Nanyang Polytechnic will award the Specialist Diploma in Cloud Data Centre Technology and Management to participants who have successfully completed the above 2 post-diploma certificates (PDC). The award of the Specialist Diploma is governed by the Polytechnic’s examinations rules and regulations.
